Affairs
Kingdom of Spain
He was accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain on June 21, 2018. He presented his Letter of Credence to the King of Spain, His Majesty Felipe VI, on January 16, 2019.
Principality of Liechtenstein
Ambassador Item was accredited by H.S.H. Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, on 13 December 2018.
Principality of Monaco
Ambassador Dario Item was accredited by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of the Principality of Monaco on February 28, 2019.
Legal Affairs
Dr. Dario Item, attorney-at-law, joined the Cantone Ticino Lawyer Register in 1998. He then joined the Cantone Ticino Bar Association in 1999.
Ambassador Item is also a member of the Swiss Federation of Lawyers and Notaries.
Since 2000, he has been working together with the multidisciplinary law firm I&P Law Office SA in Lugano.
He is also a member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the international professional body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning.
He has extensive experience and works with clients in various facets of the law profession. From banking and finance, he also has expertise in the following areas:
